Los Angeles, CA (Billboard Publicity Wire) August 18, 2007 -- Brian Evans, the crooner that has opened for the likes of Jay Leno, Joan Rivers, Social Distortion and a variety of other headline entertainers, will perform for the president of the United States on October 6th, 2007 in Austin, TX.

Brian Evans has been obtaining much luck in the past few months following an eight year stint in Las Vegas. His song "It Had To Be You" is currently being used on the international hit TV show "So You Think You Can Dance," and on September 27th his song "Witchcraft" will be played in it's entirety on the new fall series "Big Shots" starring Dylan McDermott. The show airs at 10:00 PM and follows "Grey's Anatomy".
"I feel like someone should pinch me, I can't believe how much luck I've been having by just sitting back. I'm usually so on the go, and it seems the less I do the more things happen. I'm in a new phase and chapter of my life, and I couldn't be happier."
Evans, a die-hard fan of the Boston Red Sox, just bought a condo directly across the street from the park just to see the games. He is currently working on a new album that will feature mostly original material in the "crooner" genre.
